About Us

Prospekt Consulting was started by Chirstiaan Heunis in 2010. The company was originally a development management vehicle for a student accommodation enterprise founded by Chris and his partners in 2009. Prior to the start of this venture, Chris started a boutique development company called Urban Breeze, where he designed the financial model for a property development business unit, developed the various metrics and measured success in order to further penetrate the residential property marketplace.

Following this venture he then became the senior project management for Power Developments, a leading supplier of civil, roads, building, wind farm, turnkey housing, project management and property development services in Southern Africa.Chris and his co shareholding partners grew Campus Key to over R 2 billion in development and infrastructure throughout South Africa acquiring prime sites for student accommodation that were accredited with the Universities, providing ample student pipeline for the business.

 

Chris exited Campus Key in 2018, and proceeded to develop three very successful student accommodation residences in the Netherlands. After his return to South Africa in 2019, Chris used his interpersonal skills, and experience to grow Prospekt Consulting, into a profitable development company, starting with 4 developments, of around 100 sectional title units. Over the last year, Chris has secured the prime sites listed below for the pipeline over the next 5 years.
